This programme attracts a range of successful candidates including entrepreneurs and individuals from leading global employers. The International Marketing Master’s degree will push the key skills that can drive success in today’s competitive environment.
With extensive use of case studies, by tutors with international marketing experience, you will learn to put successful theories into practice. So you receive the necessary skills required before you step into the boardroom.
All of this is combined with theory, practice and a cutting-edge approach. Meaning that you build the skills that can enhance your employability in any leading organisation.
You will benefit from attending a minimum of 3.5 study days per week, which is equivalent to 12 hours. You can expect to devote individual time to prepare for study sessions and participate in interactive discussions.
As this is an international programme, you will learn with students from across the globe. Through small seminar groups, presentations and critical reflection, you will have every opportunity to develop an exciting range of professional skills.
The programme is divided into three stages that will develop and challenge your marketing knowledge:
Stage One – This features four core modules that deliver an overview of marketing theory and practice. These include Market Strategy and Innovation, Integrated Marketing Communication and International Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour and Sales.
Stage Two – You will gain more in-depth knowledge on how to build a competitive strategy for your chosen markets.
Stage Three – The final stage will consolidate your learning into a practical marketing project. This demonstrates your ability to work at a strategic level and prepares you for the challenge as an international marketer.
Professional Development and Practice (PDP) module*
Our Professional Development and Practice module* is designed to enhance your employability by developing your career ready and transferable skills. This module is a feature of the 18-month full-time programme. It gives you the opportunity to complete the course with practical work experience. This work experience can be a paid or unpaid job, short-term internship, employer-led or Professional Body project, consultancy work or volunteering.
Live Business Simulations
The best way of learning something is by doing it. We apply this logic by using live business simulations for students to demonstrate the theory and concepts they have learnt. This is done within small groups across the programme within a real-world setting. Giving you to the opportunity to apply key theoretical concepts and experiences before you enter the world of work.
